Meet Luleåbiennalen at the NORDIK conference in Helsinki on 20 October 2025.
During the annual Nordik conference in Helsinki, Finland, Maria Svonni, Artistic Director of Konstfrämjandet Norrbotten, has been invited to participate in a panel discussion Labeled “Biennials in the Nordic Countries: histories, places, practices, and politics” the panel will contain short presentations from each of the invited parties, and facilitate a discussion between Svonni and the other particpants, including Jonas Ekeberg (Norwegian Association of Art Societies, Norway), Maria Lind (Kin Museum for Contemporary Art, Sápmi Sweden), Monica Grini (University of Bergen, Norway) and Lorenzo Imola (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands).
The panel takes place on Monday 20 October between 16.00–17.30 (EET) at Helsinki University.
